POLICE divers have been trawling Warrington's waters after a man was thought to have jumped into the Mersey at Bridge Foot.
The 36-year-old has been missing since Saturday when it is thought he plunged into the Mersey sometime after 3am.
A spokesman for Warrington police said: "Police in Warrington are concerned for the whereabouts of a 36-year-old man who was last seen near to Bridge Foot in the early hours of Saturday morning."
The force's police plane and divers have been searching since the incident happened but have been unable to find the missing man.
