Well another two points for us at the weekend, and probably the best performance of the season so far.
With Clarky and Vinnie both playing out of position i thought they did a great job for us, they directed us around the field well. I thought Mike Wainwright was the man of the match, he was the hardest working player on the field, full credit to him. Mike does all the little things that the people on the side lines don't appreciate, but the players certainly do. I think there was a number of good performances at the weekend and i think all the lads deserve a pat on the back. I think we need the same sort of mentality against Wakefield this week, Straight down the middle and be prepared to do the hard work. That is what we have spoke about this week in training, we need to start doing the hard work and completing our sets before we start to play the fancy rugby. Wakefield will be doing there best to put us off our game sunday, and they work together as a team well and thats why they are getting the results they deserve.
Chris bridge seems to be looking good again in training and hopefully he'll be fit to play again in a couple of weeks, the more training he gets done, then the less time he'll have for the sunbeds, get well soon Chris.
The only other injury news we have is that my ear is very badly swollen and sore, it's not because of the game!!!!! it's because Benny Westwood as not shut up about his touchline kick hitting the posts at the weekend, ok Benny mate, give it a rest. Can i just say how very saddened i am about the sudden death of Sheila Roberts, what a wonderful lady she was and she brightened up my day everytime i saw her at the club, she will be very sadly missed, my respects go out to her family.
I hope to see you all at the Wakefield game shouting 'Super Benny Westwood' i have to put that because he his sat next to me.
Speak soon, Woody.
