SPORTING champion Bryan Steel was helping children gain confidence and try out different sports at Penketh High School recently.
Bryan made his name as an Olympic cyclist but he is pictured here giving Shane Rice a hand with Try Golf', a children's version of the sport.
His many achievements include silver in the 2004 Olympics team pursuit and gold at the World Cup held in Sydney the same year. He visited the school for the BSkyB Living For Sport scheme, which aims to give children with low self-esteem the confidence to try out different sports.
