ARMED muggers threatened two women and a man at knifepoint.
The two semi-masked men pulled out the weapon on an alley between Dewhurst Road and Woodhouse Close, Birchwood, on Monday at 10.20pm.
The attackers snatched a handbag and a purse containing very little money, as well as keys and a mobile phone.
The pair escaped on foot along Woodhouse Close and then on to Admirals Close.
The robbers are aged 16 to 21 and were of medium build.
They wore scarves over their faces and spoke with Manchester accents.
