BUDDING business and marketing gurus have been hard at work impressing staff at the University of Chester.
Sixth form students from Formby High School and St Benedict's College in Liverpool were invited to the Warrington Padgate Campus to take part in a business management workshop.
Jane Martin, senior marketing lecturer, said: "The day was a huge success. During the workshop students were able to test their marketing skills by developing a new ride for a theme park.
"They were asked to create an advertising campaign around it and to present their ideas to the group.
"I was very impressed with the standard of work produced and hope in the future to see many of them studying at the university."
Organised by the school of business management and law, the event was part of a series of ongoing workshops taking place at the university.
Meryl Bradshaw, senior business studies lecturer, explained that the aim of the day was to build relationships with students and teachers.
