Well after last week's poor result ! ( boo hoo!) I worked REALLY hard this week ! I really stepped the exercise up a notch!
I went on a treasure hunt in Manchester on Sunday we must have walked, climbed , ran for at least 5 miles ! and omg that was tiring lol! Then I hammered the dance mat on hubbys ps2 much to my babies amusement and anyone walking past, well I will apologise now for scarring you for life ! LOL!
I stayed on the diet drinks other than on Tuesday night where I added some blue vodka to it ( WOW! That stuff is rocket fuel ! LOL ) but that was all in a good cause and it was so worth it I had a fab night out at gala with 2 mates ( ooooerrrr they take bingo seriously in there !!!! LOL - handbags at dawn ! ) I had my one takeaway of the week treat on Sunday night but was caught in the act !!! Just as the delivery driver knocks my door my mates pull up outside who I are also dieting ! Screaming at the driver not to give me that food I'm on a diet !!! LOL! Was HILARIOUS the poor lad just didn't know what to do hahaha!
Anyway weigh in on weds night and still feeling slightly ropey from the night before ( and very stiff ! hadn't been on a bike since I was 10 before that night and how we got home in one piece I will NEVER know lol! ) I stepped on the scales convinced I was gonna see a gain from all the drinking ! LOL I lost 2 lbs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to say I was chuffed would be a massive understatement and after spending the previous 6 days beating myself up about failing to see a loss the previous week I REALLY needed that boost !
Ironically , the 2 weeks out of the three on the diet so far that I have eaten more ( and drank!) I have lost , the week where I was really good I didn't so I am thinking maybe I need to stop being so obsessed by the numbers and just work on relaxing into the new lifestyle because that's what it is , its changing my whole lifestyle to influence the way I am going to look , feel and live !
This week my 3 tasks are : 1/ To walk 5000 steps a day ( using a pedometer to measure ) 2/ To eat more fruit !
3/ To use the dancemat at least once a day for 30 minutes ! ( Don't worry neighbours I will close the curtains ! LOL ) Am feeling VERY positive this week ! I think that is a combination of loosing the 2lbs and having a generally good week ! Oh and not to mention getting some much needed positive publicity for something else I am involved with !
