POLICE have arrested two men following the discovery of a stolen van in Newton.
Police officers on patrol spotted a transit van on Heald Street, which was thought to be stolen from the Wirral area.
Michael Dodd, aged 26 from Brookwood Road, Liverpool has been charged with theft of the van.
Liam Frodsham, aged 27 from Heald Street was also charged with being carried in a vehicle without the owner's consent. The pair were arrested on Thursday, March 8 and appeared at Wirral Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
