PUPILS at Newchurch primary school have been wowed by a travelling scientist's experiments this week.
Adrian Bowden visited the school in Culcheth as part of a Science Week aimed at bringing science to life.
"He did a brilliant show, full of fancy experiments that reflect everyday life," said headteacher Sara Walker.
"He is well known in the north west and quite in demand, so to get him to come in was very good for the school."
Children's parents have also been invited in to help out during experiments on topics such as friction, dissolving, forces, my body', and food.
Children from reception class up to year six have been involved.
