A TOWN centre club has been banned from playing music.
Club Casi has been ordered to stop playing live and recorded music after complaints from the public were made to Warrington Borough Council.
The council's licensing sub committee removed several activities from the club's licence after hearing evidence from environmental health officers.
The following activities have been excluded from the licence: l Exhibition of films l Performance of live music l Playing of recorded music l Performance of dance l Entertainment of a similar nature to live music, playing of recorded music Tommy Wallace, head of service for housing protection and community, said: "This demonstrates we will take a firm line on enforcing conditions to protect residents."
