A TEENAGER was sexually assaulted at knifepoint at Hardwick Grange, in Woolston.
The 17-year-old girl was attacked by a Balaclava-clad man who threatened her with two large kitchen knives.
The attacker had been lurking in bushes on the industrial site when the girl walked past at 3.15am on Monday.
Detectives say she had been walking home from Stockton Heath to Woolston.
A spokesman for Warrington police said: "The girl was not hurt but left very traumatised."
About 20 minutes before the attack, the victim spoke to a man, in his 40s, wearing blue overalls - police want this man to get in touch as he might have vital information.
The girl walked along Kingsway and Manchester Road.
Witnesses or anyone with information should call DC Ian Hampson on 0845 4580000.
