MEE Brow Community Centre in Culcheth is to close.
The wooden building, which has been in Churchill Avenue since 1995, will be destroyed due to lack of use.
Only a handful of people attended a meeting called last week to decide its fate.
Letters sent to hundreds of residents last year calling for help running it prompted only five replies.
