A CHARITY night in aid of Break Through With Cancer raised more than £2,500 after being staged at the Conservative Club in Meeting Lane, Penketh.
It included a raffle, tombola and music from the 50s and 60s. Prizes included a signed Kylie Minogue calendar and a signed Everton pennent.
The organisers thanked the businesses who donated items for the raffle and auction, including Janet Birmingham Dance School and Statham Lodge Hotel, singer Phil Atkinson and Roy from Music on the Move Disco, who gave their services for free, and The Conservative Club, for hosting the event .
