APPLETON Girl Guides have come up trumps.
The girls in blue took part in various events to raise £3,000 to pay for their summer camp, Surf 07.
Kathryn Harmer, who is the Bridgewater sub camp leader, said: "We challenged ourselves to raise £3000 to cover the extra costs of the camp and the cost of leaders, through various fund-raising events and grants. We have just £268 left to raise."
More than £1,000 was raised with help from customers at Morrisons who donated cash. at the store.
