MORE than 330 party guests took a trip back in time when they attended the Children's Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) prom ball.
The high profile event was the ninth annual ball for CAFT and saw fun-loving guests sip pink champagne and then take to the dance floor in prom gowns and 1950s threads.
Guests were also treated to some dazzling entertainment including a one-off rendition of Great Balls of Fire by the charity's trustees Roy Bergin and Nick Montague, as well as an endless stream of 50s music from The Firebirds.
The evening surpassed all expectations by raising an amazing £119,000 thanks to a raffle, silent auction and grand auction.
Some fantastic prizes were up for grabs including a trip on the Orient Express, while a generous pledge of £3,000 guaranteed a holiday of a lifetime for 315 children.
Events fundraiser Pippa Watton said: "It was such an amazing night which everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy.
"Our supporters are absolutely fantastic and it is always a pleasure to put on this event for them."
