POLICE carried out a dawn drugs raid in Birchwood on Friday and arrested a 19-year-old man.
They used metal rams to smash their way into a home in Langwell Close shortly after 6.30am. Officers recovered small quantities of suspected class A and class C drugs.
Inspector Derek Lockie, head of policing for Birchwood and North Warrington, said: "We are keen to act on information that we receive from the public. It can lead to arrests and more intelligence."
The Warrington Guardian joined officers at Risley station for the 6am briefing before going to the raid. For full details, read this Thursday's Guardian
