PAUL Deacon of Bradford Bulls needs nine points for a club record extending 2,000. Scrum half Deacon's 1,991 points consist of 64 tries and a club record 878 goals, including 21 drop goals, in 259 matches.
Deacon's best match total was 28 points with 12 goals and a try in the 92-0 RL Challenge Cup fourth round home defeat of Workington Town on 14 February 1999. He has kicked 10 goals or more in a match for Bradford on nine occasions.
A former Hindley (Oldham) amateur, Deacon made his senior professional debut four days before his 18th birthday as a substitute for Oldham Bears in a 48-6 RL Challenge Cup fourth round home defeat of Rochdale Hornets on 9 February 1997. He made only four appearances for Oldham before moving to Bradford.
Deacon scored a try and goal on his debut for the Bulls at scrum half in a 36-10 Super League home defeat of Huddersfield Giants on 28 June 1998.

MILESTONES KEITH SENIOR of Leeds Rhinos needs three tries for a career total of 200 in club and representative matches. The centre has scored 123 tries for Leeds, 56 Sheffield Eagles and 18 in representative matches, including 10 for Great Britain in full international matches.
