ONE man suffered slash wounds and his friend suffered bruising after a gang attack in a Warrington nightclub.
The two 26-year-olds were in Medicine Bar on Cairo Street in the early hours of Sunday morning when one bumped into someone while at the bar.
The man immediately hit him with a bottle and after the victim fell to the floor, he was kicked.
A large gang gathered round and also started to attack the man.
When his friend tried to intervene to protect him, he was kicked in the face.
The victim hit with the bottle suffered two broken ribs, bruising to his neck and face and he needed 15 stitches in his stomach after suffering a slashing wound.
The other man had a broken nose and suffered bruising and swelling to his body.
Detectives want to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident or anything inside the club.
The first victim was white, 6ft, wearing blue jeans and a blue polo style sweater with a t-shirt.
The other was also white, around 5ft 9ins, with dark blonde short haircut in a Mohican style at the back. He was wearing jeans, a pink t-shirt with a grey, striped jumper tied round his waste.
