WESTBROOK and Whittle Hall benefited from a visit by the Warrington Clean Team.
The team's volunteers collected 18 sacks of rubbish, including 80 Asda carrier bags.
Trudi Wood, the team's founder, said: "I was again really encouraged that a member of the public was so inspired by what we were doing that they approached us to join the team!"
The clean team holds monthly litter picks around the borough and welcomes residents from the area turning up on the day and joining in.
The next pick is Sunday, March 4, tackling waste ground near Morrisons supermarket and the swing bridge at Stockton Heath. Meet at 2pm in Morrisons car park near the recycling bays.
