Beer festival raises £8.5k
A TOTAL of 2,765 pints of ale were drunk, 445 pints of cider quaffed, 396 bottles of lager supped and 25 bottles of wine sipped at Culcheth’s fourth Beer Festival.
Records were broken as 1,008 people attended the Rotary Club event. Visitors enjoyed live music and a hog roast with more than £8500 raised for Rotary charities.
