YOU can take the trip from the home front to Hatton this weekend at the annual show.
Hatton Show takes place this Saturday with a whole host of great things to keep all the family entertained.
And this year the event will take on a special twist.
Kate Fitch, one of the show organisers, said: "We got a lot going on this year because of the centenary of the First World War.
"The WI are going to do samples of cakes from that period for people to taste and get recipes for if they want them.
"It will be a lovely day for all the family."
So this year a range of the competitions have taken on themes based around the Great War including florists being set the challenge of a piece to reflect the time and war poetry being used for the handwriting competition.
Those culinary whizzes have even tried their hand at creating an eggless, butterless and milkless cake.
All of the judging classes are now closed to new entries but the designs will be on display in the show marquees.
The ever popular Hatton Horse Show will kick the day off with competitors starting from 9.30am then the rest of the show will launch at 1.30pm.
There will be rugby taster sessions from Moore Rugby Club, a greasy pole challenge and a pet show will start at 3pm.
All entries for the pet show should be submitted on the day.
"It's a community run event and we have been luck to get a few new committee members so it's also good to have new blood with plenty of enthusiasm," added Kate.
"This is our 66th show since the Second World War but we were going from the 1890s."
