THE countdown for Burtonwood’s first beer festival is under way but more help is needed.

Burtonwood Community Centre will play host to the two-day event, which will take place on Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25.

Organiser Andy Carr announced that 20 companies have already agreed to sponsor the event, which will also be raising money for St Rocco’s Hospice and The Steve Prescott Foundation. But Andy is still on the hunt for more support.

Sponsorship packages start from £90 for a keg sponsor or up to £1,000 to sponsor the glasses for both days.
