OLD Hall Pre-School was praised by Ofsted for providing ‘stimulating experiences and activities’ to support youngsters.
The early years provision at Old Hall Community Centre was graded by Ofsted inspectors as good following an inspection on March 20.
In the report, staff were described as having a ‘good knowledge’ of the safeguarding policy and procedures and for have a clear understanding of how children develop.
The school missed out on the highest rating as staff do not always make full use of everyday opportunities to promote children's growing independence skills and improvements could be made to the induction process for new staff.
