Council running briefing ahead of elections
PROSPECTIVE candidates for May’s election are invited to a briefing next week.
The session is open to those interested in standing in the local elections on May 22 with details of the process for potential candidates and a chance to pick up a nomination pack.
The briefing takes place at the Town Hall next Tuesday, April 8 at 6pm and anyone unable to attend can pick up a nomination pack from the electoral services office at the Town Hall or by calling 442184.
Completed nomination forms must be returned to the electoral services office by no later than 4pm on Thursday, April 24.
