Everywhere you look now, you can see the preparations for Christmas.

The shops are starting to fill with Christmas things and the TV adverts are getting festive.

I say it every year but I do love this time of year. I also love the Christmas markerts.

I'm off to Munich in December and I cannot wait. It will be amazing. I love the atmosphere; the glow of the lights and how beautiful everything looks.

I'd recommend everyone getting to a Christmas market, whether in the UK or abroad to get yourself into the Christmas spirit.

Farnworth C of E is holding its Christmas Craft, Gift and Food market once again. It was lovely last year and by the looks of it, it will be even better this year.

It is on this weekend and promises a raffle with amazing prizes, vintage fairground rides, tempting food and a visit from Father Christmas himself.

What more could anyone want?
