A GIRL from Higher Walton had a treat on her first visit to a rugby league match on Sunday.
Siena Spiro, aged six, watched Fiji beat Samoa at The Halliwell Jones Stadium and met loose forward Eloni Vunakece - who lifted her up on his shoulders.
The youngster attends St Matthew’s CE Primary School in Stretton and has been studying for her Trinity College of London performing arts exams on top of school work.
Mem Sam Spiro said: “With the World Cup coming to Warrington, we thought that taking Siena to her first match was an opportunity not to be missed.
“She was quite mesmerized by all the chanting and the occasion.
“We asked Eloni Vunakece for a photo and he lifted Siena up. It was just a lovely thing for him to do.”
