Om Tuesday it's the final of The Great British Bake Off.

I love the programme and I watch it to marvel at their skill and creations, and because I love looking at sweet things.

Last week I decided to have a go at baking a cake.

A vegan recipe so it had no eggs or milk. I didn't get the recipe from the programme although they did a week baking non dairy cakes.

It was from a recipe I had at home. It came out better than I thought and I was told it was good.

It was a raspberry chocolate cake. I've now got a bit of a baking bug, just a smidge though. Who knows what I'll make next!
