A DALLAM woman has turned party planner to help raise money for a cause close to her heart.
Charlotte Peers, of Hawleys Lane, has organized a charity ball and auction to help raise money for Cancer Research UK.
She said: “I have known a lot of people who have suffered from the disease, a few of them being two of my grandparents close friends and work colleagues. One of my good friends is still battling the condition.
“I have decided to hold the Charity Ball to raise much needed funds as my way of supporting all those I know living with this disease.”
The ticket only ball takes place on Saturday at the Waterside Marquee Warrington, on Centre Park.
And those attending will be wowed with music from a singer, DJ and performances from show dancers and a magician.
There will also be the chance to claim some top sporting memorabilia in an auction coming from the likes of Manchester United and Warrington Wolves.
It is the first time Charlotte has decided to plan an event like this but has already starting making plans for the next event.
Next up will be a children’s Christmas party to help raise money for CLIC Sargent.
Tickets are limited and cost £5 each and are available by e-mailing charityball2013@yahoo.co.uk for payment details.
