MONEY is being sought to restore paths at Risley Moss so that the popular Green Safari Day can make a return next year.
Charity Risley Moss Action Group (RIMAG) said that thousands of feet have taken their toll making parts of the area unsuitable for vehicles.
“That means that the providers of family activities and wildlife displays cannot readily access the site,” said Andy Pearson, a spokesman for RIMAG.
Safari day has been called off this year for the first time in 20 years and restoration work on the site is due to begin in late June.
If you can help with fundraising, call Andy on 825329.
