A TEAM of 14 walkers who work in Birchwood Park are taking on Cheshire’s peaks to raise funds for Francis House Children’s Hospice.
The group from IT and engineering firm Evolution Recruitment Solutions are raising money for the charity and their bosses have agreed to match the total.
Recruitment consultant Dominic Lennard, aged 23, said: “I knew a very intelligent and sociable young adult who had a life threatening condition. He had an infectious smile and laugh. Even in his darkest moments he was always cracking a joke or making you smile.
“I believe every child or young adult who finds themselves in a similar position should have access to facilities that can help them make the most of their life in a fun and caring place.”
The 13.75 mile Cheshire Three Peaks Walk takes place on Sunday, taking in Tegg’s Nose, Shutlingsloe and Shining Tor.
