STAFF at a Hollins Green pub are raising a glass to celebrate winning a Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) accolade for the second year.
The Black Swan, in Manchester Road, was named Community Pub of the Year by the North Cheshire branch of CAMRA for hosting events including a monthly farmers’ market, beer festivals and evening entertainment.
A function room has also recently opened for private parties like weddings and business events.
Stuart Wraith, manager, said: “We go out of our way to integrate ourselves into the community and try to please our regulars and locals.”
Ray Head, of North Cheshire CAMRA, added: “With a growing repertoire of community events and even more well-kept cask ales on the bar it is no great surprise that the Black Swan retained the title.”
