CULCHETH Primary School’s eco-friendly ethos was celebrated in style with a special visit from Blue Peter’s Helen Skelton.
The Warrington Road school regularly holds a ‘green day’ to mark its Green Flag status.
Pupils mucked in with planting and growing projects, mini beast hunts and made kites while chatting to Helen.
Head teacher Amanda Smith said: “Helen was tremendously engaging with all of the children.
“She really knew how to relate to them all.”
Warrington’s Wolves hooker Mickey Higham and some of the Warrington Wolves team also popped in to see the youngsters.
