With this question I am pondering the idea of whether someone such as myself who seems to be balance-challenged would be better off with a tricycle over a bicycle.
Everyone I have told about this idea seems to find it laughable. However, I've been researching it and there seems to be a lot of reasons to opt for three wheels instead of two.
Over the years, I have tried every now and then to ride a bike with no luck. I just can't seem to stay balanced.
Apparently, you have to pick up a bit of speed to stay balanced and I'm too scared to do that. I worry I'll lose control of the bike.
It happens to be a plus point of a tricycle; going slowly doesn't cause wobble.
Also, one thing I have noticed, there is more room on the back for stuff.
What stuff you may wonder? I don't know yet but I know that space would come in handy if I were to start tricycling around.
I don't need to as a I have a car but I also enjoy walking places, even though I have a car.
A negative seems to be the cost so I'm not sure how realistic it will ever be and do I need one? No, I don't.
But here's what I do know. I'd be a happier tricyclist than bicyclist.
