A CHARITY champion from Wilderspool has been crowned a community hero by a Stockton Heath business.
Karen Blenkinsop, of Landseer Avenue, won the title following a competition run by London Road’s Cartridge World.
For the past two years she has worked to raise funds for the Well Warrington Network which offers low cost healing therapies to people in disadvantaged areas.
Among the campaigns was a photo competition where Cartridge World helped to print the entries.
Karen was presented with a hamper full of delicious food goodies worth £50 by John Forster from store part of the competition for the launch of its online sales.
He said: “It’s really inspiring to hear how much Karen dedicates to Well Warrington and we were happy to help out with printing entries for the photo competition. “It was a pleasure to say thank you and give something back to someone who clearly dedicates their time to helping others. It was also a perfect way to introduce our new online service.”
