I started my Christmas shopping the other day. I know we're still in November but you have to get organised.
I loved going into a Christmassy shop and hearing the Christmas songs. I love the atmosphere.
For me, there's a soft glow on kindness taking the edge off the harshness of the world. It's a shame it isn't like that all year around but maybe then we wouldn't notice it that much.
One thing I particularly enjoy are the Christmas markets and craft fairs. On Saturday, there is a Christmas Craft and Gift Market being held at Farnworth CE Primary School in Widnes.
It promises to be festively wonderful with a great number of stalls. I'm going to try to make it.
I always admire the time and effort put into these kind of events and I think everyone would benefit from feeling a little bit of christmas joy that little bit earlier this year.
