BALMER David Andrew Peter Sadly, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 30th March 2024 aged 76 years. Beloved husband to Val, much loved dad to Dave Jnr, Terence, Victoria, a loving grandad to all his grandchildren and a much-loved brother to Mike. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. I was greatly saddened to hear of David's passing.
In remembering David I will always think of him with a book & his high brow crosswords plus his vocabulary.
An erudite man who was never verbose but always concise & well informed.
How I will miss bumping into him in Warrington, having a conversation, then leaving with a smile on my face!

I'm so sorry to hear about Dave's passing. I worked with Dave at the Environment Agency for many years before his retirement. I often bumped into him in Stockton Heath village and Warrington town centre when we were both out and about. He was such a lovely man. Always so kind and positive, and always with a book on the go! He was a pal. I'll miss him. Liz Bowen
