MATTHEWS Derek James Aged 86, passed away on 19th July 2023, in the presence of his loving family. He was a cherished husband to Ann, a devoted father to Pam, Jane and Clare, a caring father-in-Law to Brian, John and Scott, an adored grandad to Hannah, Josh, Jake, William, Amelia, Ollie, Esme and Jemima, and a beloved great-grandad to Junior and Albie. Derek's warmth and love also touched the hearts of Nisha and Irina. Every passing day, we feel the void left by Derek's absence, and his memory will forever live in our hearts. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who offered kindness and support during this challenging time. A special thank you goes to Hummingbird and St Roccos Hospice for their exceptional care, for which Derek was deeply grateful.
