I met Steve when I was about seventeen and he became a good friend. He was very caring, kind, and considerate to me and was such a fun person to be around, the kind of person who lit up a room when he walked into it. I remember one night some of us were watching a film together and Steve got a call from the salon where he worked, because they needed him in to do a celebs hair. We thought "what a legend". We lost touch after he moved to the States, but I have thought of him so many times over the years. I am so glad that he got to live such a fulfilled life with a loving family. He certainly deserved it. I am so sorry to hear of his untimely passing and send my condolences to his family and friends. There will be an extra bright star in the sky now xx
