STANLEY ECCLES Sadly Stan passed away suddenly, aged 59, leaving behind loving wife Joanne and sons Darren, Daniel, Jake and Grandson Charlie. For those in his circle of friends and family, Stan gave out acres of friendship and love, his cheeky grin will be missed and all who knew him have a story to tell from their time in his company. He worked hard all his life and was a willing "Mr Fix-it" for family & friends. His passion was Golf, and he played a weekly 4 ball at Leigh Golf Club, for the walk, the competition and being out in the fresh air with friends. As an amateur baker his cakes were always eagerly awaited, the recipes just like his friendship are lost, but our memories of this wonderful man will remain forever. A Celebration of Stan's life will be held on Friday 28th May 2021 at Newchurch, Culcheth. The cortege will leave Stan's home at 12 noon to drive along Lodge Drive, turning right onto Common Lane towards Leigh Golf Club, turning into the Club to return back down Common Lane and onto Church Lane to arrive at Newchurch for the service to commence at 12:30pm. So sad to hear this awful news. Stan was one of a kind. He could always brighten up the darkest of rooms. I have many memories of Stan especially that cheeky smiles he carried around with him everywhere he went.
My heart goes out to all his family and friends.
Sleep tight Stan and forever rest in peace.

This is sad news....... worked with Stan at the Autocentre on Knutsford Rd in the 80's. A great character, a grafter and 100% reliable. Sincere condolences to his family. R.I.P. Stan.
