THE zombie apocalypse is hitting the Trafford Centre in time for Halloween.
EventCity will be transformed into a ‘safe zone’ to keep back hordes of the undead from October 16 to November 2.
Former Bridgewater High School pupil Tammy Silcock came up with the idea for Scream Park after running Winter Wonderland at the same venue over Christmas.
The four-hour role play experience sees brave volunteers thrown into the middle of the final battle between the military and zombie swarm.
You have to be on your guard at all times to have any hope of escape.
Tammy, whose family has five generations of fairground and amusement park experience, wanted to host another event after the success of Winter Wonderland but for a completely different audience.
The Appleton entrepreneur, who is organising the attraction with her husband Billy, said: “We are really excited to announce Scream Park UK which will be completely different from other Halloween events in the north west.
“Customers will feel like they are in the middle of a real life situation, the event is completely immersive, interactive and fun.
“Scream Park UK is a military and zombie themed event and we strongly advise customers to stay away if you are of a nervous or weak disposition.
“This is not for the faint hearted. The event will be held both indoors and outdoors on a massive scale so dress for the weather.”
There will also be a selection of spooky rides and scare attractions to fit with the theme.
Survival sessions take place between October 16 and November 2 in the evening between 7pm and 11pm at EventCity.
Tickets are £20. Visit screamparkuk.com for more information.
