Rosemount is one of the best known names in Australian wine was for many years one of the country’s largest family-owned makers.
Brightness and freshness are the key features of this light, citrus-filled white which has lots of tropical fruit flavours.
Alcohol is only 11.5% and it’s well-priced and great for summery days.

Many supermarket own label wines are great value and this one’s a corker.
Made by Vina El Rosal in Chile’s Casablanca region close to the Andes it’s a lovely rich, layered Pinot Noir full of ripe raspberries.
The cooler climate produces fresh flavours which work best when it is drunk chilled. Alcohol level is 13.5%.
