TATTON Park’s Old Hall has received a terrifying five spook rating in the AA guide to ‘Haunted Britain’.
The Tudor manor house was also investigated in Living TV’s Most Haunted and was used as a set for ITV 3’s Ladykillers.
Now you can investigate the estate’s oldest building for yourself at Tatton’s Halloween Hauntings today, Thursday, until 5pm.
Some believe that a former estate worker from the 1800s haunts the building’s Victorian parlour.
Another spectral squatter has been ‘seen’ cleaning his gun with a faithful dog at his feet.
In the Great Hall several people have felt their hair being tugged and a cord or ribbon slowly tightening around their necks.
Brave souls can tremble their way through the haunted house while skittish visitors can part in mask making, face painting and storytelling.
Fearless guests can also go ghost hunting in Tatton’s gardens until November 3.
