ALWAYS a favourite with youngsters, Gulliver’s is getting even bigger as it takes on some exciting new rides.
The Old Hall theme park has given a home to some of the rides from Camelot, the Chorley theme park which closed its doors last year, adding to the extensive array of attractions at the site.
With more than 30 rides for young thrill-seekers it really can be a full day out for families with younger children. Height restrictions obviously apply to some of the scarier roller coasters but even the smallest will be allowed on at least a few.
Little ones may also be able to catch a show from CBeebies’ Zingzillas – which is also a good chance to have a sit-down!
Rough and ready would probably be the best way to describe the appearance of the park as it could certainly do with a lick of paint. I would also advise parents to bring a picnic as food is not of the greatest standard.
When you take young children they don’t really care if the place looks a bit tatty – as long as they get a full day of fun and excitement. And when they come home happy – that’s the most important thing.
