TWO shows will take place at the Pyramid this week, showcasing the best of dance talent from across town.
The groups involved in this year’s performances range from four to over 70, with the eldest participants from the ‘Grace’ performance group for people over 50 who enjoy creative dance.
The Shine! show features all styles of dance from belly to street dancing.
The Dance Showcase has been organised by Jade Munsey – a student volunteer from Liverpool John Moores University, with support from Culture Warrington arts development officer James Goodison. The performances take place today, Thursday, and tomorrow, Friday, at 7.30pm in the Studio Theatre.
Performing on the Thursday are: Anascent, Viscaria Dance, Warrington Collegiate, Belly Fit, University Academy Warrington, Sarah Royle School of Dance, Lymm High School, Revive Elite.
Performing on the Friday are: Wolfprint, Northern Starr Dancing, Velocity 7-11/12+, SSDA , Fusion 7-11/12+, Flava Juniors, Urban Footsteps, Fusion Bewsey 12+, Angel Dance Academy, Bridgewater Dance Leaders, Gulliver’s Dance School Seniors, Velocity Contemporary, Flava Seniors, Pyramid Adult Jazz/Street Class,18yrs, Further Footsteps, GRACE.
