I HAD not been in town for a while, but I was pleasantly surprised when I went down Sankey Street last week.
The former Co-op building, which had turned into a complete eyesore, is now looking superb.
Whoever has taken it on has done a great job.
I went into the mall and there are lots of lovely small businesses and places to eat, with a lot of extra rooms ready to open.
The bakery was also amazing with delicious bread and treats.
What a benefit to Warrington.
