I HAVE to say I agree with the comment on Warrington Walking Day.
While still a fabulous event, it is not what it was.
The crowds were down this year, there is no doubt about that, and there were far fewer people walking.
I am not looking on with rose-tinted spectacles, it simply is not what it was. Could moving it to Saturday help?
Or does walking day need to be taught in schools so people understand its history and significance to this town?
