I AM not sure who is responsible, but I must thank the people running the town centre.
For years there was very little going on, other than the shops.
Now there are regular events, many of which are free and all of which are great for the family.
The latest was the Lunar New Year event over the weekend.
We went and it was a brilliant day out.
Free crafts for the kids and a lion dance as well through Queen’s Gardens, so well done everyone involved.
The event before Christmas was great too.
For too long Warrington was neglected, with very few events or reasons to come to the town centre.
Now that is changing, and it is refreshing.
With Time Square and the cinema as well, Warrington is going places.
Families can spend the weekend there rather than travelling elsewhere to the Trafford Centre and the like.
