Lowry Outlet is preparing for a month of whobilations, as the Whoville Christmas Markets come to town.
Shoppers can be transported into a world inspired by Dr Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, while the show is on at The Lowry Theatre from December 10, as The Makers Markets get a makeover suitable for Augustus Maywho.
Producers from across the north west will take up residence outside on the plaza where they’ll be a range artisan food, drinks and gifts available to buy – from Who Puddings including Grinch Macaroons to Roast Who Beast.
A Whoville Post Office will also be open for little Cindy-Lou Whos to drop off their letters before youngsters can take on the Whoville Present Trail.
The naughty Grinch has stolen 16 presents and hidden them around the mall.
Collect a map and search high and low to find the Whoville residents’ Christmas gifts.
Bookworms will also enjoy the Mount Crumpit reading area, open daily between 10am and 4pm.
The Whoville Christmas Markets will start on November 21 and run every weekend until December 22 operating from 10am to 7pm on Saturdays and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.
On Thursday 21 and Friday 22 November the markets will be open from 10am to 7pm.
