A MOTORIST was more than three times over the drink drive limit when she smashed into parked cars in Orford.
Kelly Lowe fled the scene of the crash in Orford and was later spotted by police staggering along Winwick Road.
Last week, the 31-year-old was banned from driving for two years at Warrington Magistrates Court.
The court heard that on Thursday, January 31, a Peugeot 208 being driven by Lowe collided with two stationary vehicles on Sharp Street at around 7am on Tuesday, August 21.
Both the defendant and her female passenger fled the scene on foot, and police later saw the pair ‘staggering around and holding each other up’ on Winwick Road.
Lowe, of Calgarth Avenue, was described as being ‘unsteady on her feet’, and officers found the keys to the car in her bra.

She initially denied being behind the wheel after her arrest, but three witnesses attended Warrington Police Station to identify the nail technician after a breathalyser test found she was more than three times over the drink driving limit.
The court heard that Lowe had been drinking in the pub the previous evening before returning home with some friends and drinking Jack Daniels until 2am.

Her recollection of events was described as being ‘vague’, but the mum-of-one remained awake in the hours leading up to the crash.
One of the cars Lowe hit was written off and the other was damaged to the front off-side, while her own car also had to be scrapped.
Described as being ‘entirely remorseful’, she admitted drink driving and failing to stop after an accident during an earlier court hearing and was banned from driving for two years by magistrates - who told her she was ‘lucky not to have harmed anyone’.
Lowe, who has two previous convictions for criminal damage and battery, will undergo a 12-week curfew from 9pm to 8am and must pay £100 in compensation.
She was also ordered to pay £85 court costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
