STEFAN Ratchford has been voted as The Wire's man of the match for Saturday's opening-day win over Leeds Rhinos.
Warrington Guardian readers overwhelmingly voted the full-back as their stand-out as he polled 47 per cent of the vote.
Ratchford, who won the inaugural Guardian readers' player of the year prize in 2018, scored a try and kicked five goals in the 26-6 victory at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Debutant Blake Austin was a strong second with 24 per cent of the vote while Bryson Goodwin beat Daryl Clark to third place by just 10 votes.
