TWO men have threatened staff during a robbery at Greggs in Orford.
Police say at around 6.15pm on December 2, two men entered the bakery off Sandy Lane West and forced staff to open the safe in the back office.
The two culprits then stole the cash out of the safe and fled the scene.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and detectives are urging anyone with information that may help with their investigation to come forward.
Officers also want to hear from anyone who believes they may have dashcam footage of the offenders.
Detective constable Maggie Cassidy said: “While no weapons were used the victims have been left extremely shaken and we are committed to doing all that we can to trace the people responsible and bring them to justice.
“The bakery is located on a busy retail park and is also next to a major junction on the A49 and I believe that there will have been a number of people in the area at the time of the incident who may be able to assist with our investigation."
Anyone with information that may help detectives with their investigation, no matter how small, should call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 284982, give the details via cheshire.police.uk/contact/general-enquiries or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
